Journal Blog post #8 - Analysis
Pages 238 - 268
Write about the style of writing the author uses.
The author of this book really leaves the impression that you are reading the story of a fifteen year old boy writing about the things happening in his life. He doesn't break character while writing and he describes the characters, settings and events through the eyes of Christopher.
Write about something in the text in terms of those qualities that proffesional writers look for in real life: conflict, contrast, contradiction and characterization.
There is obviously the conflict between Christopher and his Father once he found out that Christopher was doing detective work concerning the murder of Wellington. This conflict carried the story all the way to the point when Christopher found the letters from his mum. After that the conflict between them escalated and his Mother was also added to the equation. The resolution of this conflict tied all the events, after him going to London, together and made for a satisfying ending for the readers.

I apologize for kind of ignoring the whole system you prepared for these blog posts and will obviously understand if you deduct some of my points for this reason.
Nonetheless, have a nice evening (or am I supposed to say nice morning? ) and happy holidays!
